p.7 #1 · Glamour shots of the lenses themselves

I've finally settled on an 8x10 camera that I really like! Chamonix 8x10, same brand and very similar design as my Chamonix 4x5 that I absolutely love I've got a Tachihara 8x10 for sale soon if anyone wants

450mm f12.5 Fujinon-c mounted

Wow Daniel that looks awesome!

I need to get back to doing some LF photography.

Here is my "poor man's kit", aka, the great Busch Pressman D.

Nice rig, Daniel! What are the current options for 8x10 instant materials (negatives, positive prints, reversal films)?

I don't know what the options for instant film is, I don't shoot any polaroids or anything, just tri-x 320 and Efke positive paper.

I don't have a softbox so the lighting is a little uneven, but these are my 3 children (and for now my only alt lenses).

These boys are not mine, but because of their popularity, take a look at these youngsters:

Looks well used, like my (great) copy. I'd recommend a black adapter, especially if you plan on using it wide open.

Here is the Yashica 24/2.8 ML, a coveted and infrequently-seen lens for C/Y mount. I have yet to test it, but build quality is high and size is remarkably small. Shot with a Panasonic FX150 P&S: 1-sec exposure so I could fire the studio lights by hand!

Resently I started to use some old Exakta lenses on my 20D.
I realy like how these old (around 1960) lenses are different from my Canon glass.

Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f2.8

http://www.miedema.dyndns.org/fmpics/IMG_2368-Calr-Zeiss-Jena-Tessar-op-20D.jpg

Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50mm f2

http://www.miedema.dyndns.org/fmpics/IMG_2364-Zeiss-Jena-Pancolar-op-20D.jpg

I also used some lenses ment to use on a Bellows.
They reach infinity on the Bellows. I made some Portaits this way

Steinheil Culminar 135mm f4.5

http://www.miedema.dyndns.org/fmpics/IMG_2339-20D-met-Culminar-op-balg.jpg

For the Novoflex lens my Canon Bellows (+ adapters) was to thick to reach infinty focus, so I had to use an older Ekakta Bellows

Novoflex Noflexar 105mm f3.5

http://www.miedema.dyndns.org/fmpics/IMG_2333-20D-met-Noflexar-op-balg.jpg

I made a Gallery on my (modest) website: http://www.miedema.dyndns.org/Exakta/index.html
There are Photo's of more lenses, and Pictures I took with these lenses

Regards, Gertjan
