You know, Canonizer, there's something about that Pelang that is really inviting, really makes me want to try it.
The finish looks like it could be either very high quality (very smooth) or very plasticky; I guess the difference will be in the "feel" (can't think of the word right now, that means the tactile, sensuous "feel" of the design and finish. A cool word, but itself kinda "ugly...")
But the overall proportions; the square grip area...very visually appealing!

The Peleng is rock solid metal. A real chunk of metal and glass, with a sold build. Quite fun to play with, just wish it would work on my 5D also.
