After considerable thought and agonizing, I have decided to downsize my rig. I have a Canon 500 f4 L IS lens purchased new from B&H in October of 2007 with a date code of UV0825. It comes with everything as it did when it was new.. I would like to trade for a Canon 300 f2.8 L IS in like condition. Trades in the United States only.
My lens is in very good condition. It does have a pair of minor scratches on the bottom of the lens near wear the hood attaches. Other than these slight blemishes, this lens is in like new condition with the glass being pristine.
I would be interested in a 300 f2.8 L IS of the same age and condition with some cash from you. I have a trip to Yellowstone scheduled on the 9th of August, so the deal would need to be completed by then or the 500 will be going with me.

I'm currently working on a deal to pick up a 500 (I'll know in a few days). If that doesn't work out, I have a mint 300 that I would be interested in trading with you if this is still available then.
