Is there anyone out there who is not in the market for anything. With my recent purchase of a low click 1DSMK2 I would like to think I am. I have all the lenses I want, all the lighting equipment I need. I would like to think I am done. Has anyone here gone more than 6 months w/o buying anything?

6 months is pushing it.
I really should dispose of some equipment before buying more. The cupboards are filling up and there is a 200-400/4 with my name on it come December.

Buying for now YES!!! With the economy in shambles and I am nearing retirement, the DsMKII I bought last Fall is my last BUY. Now selling is another matter. I am always in the market for something BUT......do I need it? Probably not. My arsenal is full.

Always think I am done...keyword think. Friend was selling a used tripod at a good price that found its way into the gear collection. Now the ballhead is ordered. Tacked on another column for giggles and grins lol.
Glass, good deal on a fisheye came up here, NAS strikes again lol. Have good coverage up to 200mm now. But go to local autocross and drifting events, putting off getting up to the 300+ range to get up close and personal without being on the track. For how long, who knows... Although X-mas is jsut around the corner
I haven't bought a camera body or lens yet in 2008. Does this mean I am cured?
I am not really in the market for anything either and in a month or so I will group a few bits and bobs together and put them up for sale. I am even considering parting with my trusted 1D2N.
