I am looking to sell or trade a lightly used Olympus Zuiko OM 50mm f/1.2 lens. I bought this lens as brand new last year, and I have used it infrequently since then. It is in excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, body/aperture blades/focus ring/aperture ring perfect mechanical condition. There is a touch of surface wear on the aperture ring from normal use, but really minimal. I have not looked under a loupe to ensure the absolute absence of internal dust. Comes with both caps but no hood. Original box is slightly torn, which may matter if you're buying his to collect it.
I would like to do a straight trade for a Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 Ai-S in similarly perfect condition. Would also be willing to trade the lens plus cash for a Zeiss ZF 2/50 Makro Planar. No other trade offers please.
Will only trade with you if you have good feedback.
Asking price for outright sale is $450 or best offer, which includes shipping in the United States ($475 OBO to Canada, buyer assumes import duties). I will only take payment by PayPal and ship to a PayPal confirmed address.
I will include a basic (cheap) OM to Four Thirds or OM to Canon EOS mount adapter if you like. I also have a Fotodiox Pro AF confirm adapter for Canon. If you want that, make me an offer for the lens and adapter reflecting the higher price of this adapter.
Please do not offer to buy unless you are ready to pay right away. I've had bad experiences holding items waiting for payment. I have additional feedback as 'asabet' on Ebay.
The Fotodiox pro adapter's chip is stuck on with what looks like a sloppy cement as the image below shows. Regardless of how it looks, it works well. This adapter cost close to $100 from what I recall.
I looked it up, and the Fotodiox adapter sells for $90 new, vs ~$20-30 for the cheaper one. Therefore, if you want to buy the lens with the more expensive OM to Canon adapter included, please add $30 to the asking price. In other words, $450 shipped/paypalled OBO for the lens including inexpensive OM-Canon adapter and $480 shipped/paypalled OBO for the lens including the more expensive OM-Canon adapter. If you want the OM-Four Thirds adapter instead, then I only have one kind, and since it was inexpensive, I'm asking $450 with that one included.
