Thanks. I just got that Zuiko 28/2 a few days ago. I never really planned to do any macroish work with it, but paired with a 12mm tube, it is great for flowers!
Quite a mess, but I actually like it! Even though there is a bright outline to the blur discs, the edges are smooth. What is worse is the LCA. Look at the greenish glow in the transitions from light to dark in the sweater of the guy to the right.
It was a toss up between the old grandpa SSC and the FD L, I'm glad I went for the SSC instead, considering how close in price they were.
The octagonal aperture iris can be found on many 8-bladed versions, including the new EF L I and II, but 9 blades exclusively hold something special to the SSC version.
