Also I think the red is clipped/over-exposed so quite a bit of detail is missing in the red area.

I think the WB was off a bit. I changed the WB preset on raw converter to cloudy for those but I think daylight is better for these shots.
Here they are with daylight WB preset:

I'm surprised there are any left... (*ducks*)
And be careful - that's the kind of shot that can get you arrested these days.
Not to hijack, but under what charge? They are in a public place...there is no expectation of privacy, and they are not identifiable, so you don't need a model release (not that you need one anyway unless you make money from the shot).
Thanks! First 2 images were shot with the Canon 100/2.8 macro and the 3rd image with the Canon 135L. FWIW, I have just replaced both lenses with the Voigtlander APO-Lanthar 125/2.5 macro.

@bobbytan,
Cool shots. What lens did you use?

And you didn't realize this is the "alternative" gear section
Ah, but we aren't afraid to see some non-alternative stuff are we? I say it's always good having things to compare to.

Goodness Jonas - You're very dedicated to indexing all these images!
Yup. I have some mixed feelings about it... Lol. But I don't spend my own free time while doing it and I get a long hard look at each image. And btw, your Lux images, unexpectedly smooth! I have never used the lens (way out of reach) but have seen typical ASPH-nervous bokeh from it earlier.
I know people say the 50mm Summilux-M ASPH is too clinical, but I wonder how many of those people have actually used the lens vs just reading & repeating. I love it on the M8 and it's essentially my only lens for the M system. I have others but they haven't been used much and are in the process of being sold. If a full-frame M9 ever comes along, then the M9 + 50 Lux would be ideal (for what I shoot). There's alot more from the 50 Summilux ASPH at http://www.pebbleplace.com/Personal/Pictures.html --> Vacations --> Mexico. I hope to create a new gallery this weekend just for the 50 Lux because I've taken 1000s of pix with it. It's an amazing optic. The price is sick, but it's almost worth it.
That Leica seems fantastic! I've never seen such smooth bokeh from a 50 mm lens. Not even the Sigma 50/1.4 does that look at medium distances. It looks very "medium format", as if it was stopped down quite a bit already.

Here are a bunch of shots from today with the lovely Nikkor 105/2.5 AIS on D700 again. I'm out of words for describing how much I like it. I'll just dedicate the post to Brainiac, because this is very close to "perfect bokeh".
All are wide open and number 2 is shot with a Nikon 5T closeup lens.
