Paul,
Nice shots! Your girls are too cute.
Reminds me of my girls when they were little, ... now I'm a Grandpa.
I need to put my Oly to better use. Thanks for reminding me.

It is older than the CV 58/1.4 and an unrelated design. I believe that it is essentially the same as the Tomioka 55/1.2 except made by Cosina and multi-coated. It is in the Pentax K mount and has a 9-blade aperture.
The 300L shot ended up having really nice bokeh (my subjective opinion...), lively but also smooth, just the way I like. So sad the lens weights a ton and it's nice to carry around.

I'm not sure whether these are admirable or not, but I'm beginning to like this lens.
With Leica 180/2.8 (Non-Apo)....
Nice shots Paul, love the colors.
I recently got the lens but the main color here is white, and lots and lots of white. Someday the snow will go away. Glad to see a little snow in the first shot. At least I know my whites match yours. Now only if the snow would melt I could get some of those other colors you get. Waiting Waiting waiting

Thanks...
The Leica lenses thus far did not disappoint me.
I got this lens for a real bargain, and it turned out to be an awesome lens.
Sharpness, colors, and a pretty good bokeh...
An old shot from 2003. 300D and Canon 50/1.8. Not alternative, I know, but a combination that we don't often see. And apparently in 2003, I was into big, gaudy frames.

Taken all wide open with 1DsMKII.
I think they show pretty good out of focus area.
I agree. I especially like the one with the for sale sign.
