This Canon 45mm ts-e is in excellent condition. There are no optical or mechanical flaws. I say "excellent" rather than "mint" because I have used the lens quite a bit, but it has never been dropped, banged, or the like. The lens shade has minor wear; the felt does not have any bare spots. It is a sharp copy -- though I've not heard of copies of this lens that are not sharp. I bought several new and compared them, kept this one, and returned the others. Date code is UT1003, meaning it was manufactured in October '05.
Price reduced to $900, includes Paypal and Shipping to the 48 states.
I sent the lens to Canon to realign the tilt and shift mechanisms so that they are on the same plane. You can change it back, but I prefer it this way for single capture landscapes and for panoramas.
Includes Canon front and rear caps, and Canon box and original packaging.
Under the same user name, httivals, I have excellent feedback on EBAY and on this forum (on the old feedback thread). I haven't sold any items since the new rating system began. It's better to email me than to send me a PM; I check my emails more often.
Thanks, Howard

What does the "reallignment of the tilt shift mechanism" do? Does the lens not tilt and shift anymore? I need a lens that has the original functionality. I've sent you an email.
I believe what he is talking about is having the Tilt and the shift in the same plane or orientation. It comes from the factory with shift and tilt adjustments perpendicular to each other. It is very easy to do. I did it myself. Need a very small screw driver.
Yes, that's what I did. I had the tilt and shift realigned so that they are now in the same plane or orientation.

The lens tilts and shifts. The difference being that you can now use tilt and shift in the same plane with the lens. As the lens is configured from the factory, you can only tilt and shift in different planes.

For clarification, I asked Ken-Shing Law and he wrote me that he reported "spamming" because someone had posted a link to an external site in this thread, but has since removed it. . . . I, the seller, am not spamming, or accused of spamming. Thanks, Howard
one question, howard: does the offer include the hood and pouch, too? you mention only the front and rear caps, box, and packaging in your "includes" description.
Still available. I'm going out of town Friday for the week-end, so if you don't contact me today (Thursday), then I'll respond to further inquiries on Sunday, when I return. Howard
