What's the story with the second shot here? It's bugging me, in a good way. I like how the two men are oblivious but the two women know what's up.
I honestly have no idea! When I'm photographing on the street I alternate between hunting (constantly on the move looking for possible pictures) and fishing (waiting in a promising location for interactions to unfold). This is a fishing picture, taken outside a railway station and since I took it almost two months ago I can't recall what might have led up to that situation. I agree that the tension between the men's and the women's responses contributes to the mystery of that dramatic gesture by the woman on the left.
Since portra is at gold prices, I have some pure unobtanium. Frozen since fresh portra 160nc in 120. I will let it go for the low low price of $60 a roll or both for a cool bill
In reality, I will just give it to a photog friend local who shoots mf as I am strictly 35mm these days. Crazy these c41 film prices.
Speaking of frozen film, I have some plusX and xtra800....I don't why I hold onto the 800, I won't shoot it.
I have a bill from some film I bought from freestyle in 2020. Gold was like $4 a roll $9 for a pack of 3. I’m finding superia at Walmart for $22 for a 3 pack. And fujicolor 200 (gold 200) for $6.99 a roll at my local lab. I have a bulk roller with lots of fomapan 200 left so that’s what it’ll be for a while, in the end about $2 a roll. Hard to beat that. I think if you do it right you can still get by shooting film.

Talk to me about the xtra800. I have a fixed focus fixed exposure camera that I use that stuff in exclusively for an ongoing project.

Nice set! Is this what you would call a triptic or something like that?
Yup 3 = triptych, 2 = diptych.
The Agat 18k is tiny 35mm half frame camera so you get 72 exposures on a 36 exp roll. It is cheap, plastic, feels like a toy and does not seem like it would even work but it does!

I will see what I have left. I sold most of it a few years ago but I noticed I had 4-8 rolls in my freezer last I checked. Frozen since fresh.
