I was fortunate enough to have a job that took me to some very interesting places in Asia and as an amateur photographer I took ample advantage of the opportunity. The Rolleiflex is such a perfect travel camera. Many people I came across were so amused with the Rolleiflex I had no trouble taking photos. But I no longer have my LS9000 scanner and shooting film aside from the ever increasing cost we have film killing CRT scanners at the airport. Here’s another for nostalgia sake anyway. I hand my film to TSA and ask them to hand check it. Always works and skips the stupid X-rays. Might not work in other countries though…

The older types are generally film safe. For 120 film I tend to carry 50 rolls and many people don’t know what it is and the language barrier makes it difficult.
