I like the Bessa L, partially because I bought it for $90 new a few years ago when a distributor unearthed a whole stash of them and unloaded them. But it is fun to use and if it breaks, well, it was 'only' $90.
Not sure how much they are going for now, but an alternative that I also use are the Leica 1g and the MDa. Downsides is neither have a meter.
Just picked one up for about the same, albeit used. It was quite dirty, but in great shape once cleaned up. I was shopping for a LTM adapter for the Wtulens, but the L wasn't really much more.
