Yes, it was elevated. Seems to be about half the height of the first silo, more or less. I think that vantage point really helps the perspective. You can also see in the GE shot that the roadway is elevated there.

Umm, shuffling feet looking at the ground, this is not the new E100. But E100GX that I had in my freezer. So it is about 12 years old.
But shot at box speed!
Love evening (and morning) pastels in the sky. Sometimes it is just a bit, sometimes, highlights the clouds nicely, other times more severe/saturated for good drama. From 2 different evenings, same roll of fuji superia 400 on a nikon n90s, first with the lowly 35-70/3.3-4.4 and 2nd with the series e 75-150/3.5, pakon scanned.
