Couple more Ektar off of the GW690. Still waiting on some Acros to come in.
Niiiice. When did you get the GW690? I have been so busy with work there's been literally no time to get out and shoot film, so my GW690iii just sits on my desk giving me the stink eye.
I have some rolls of Ektachrome on pre-order. Should get here in about 2 weeks. Unfortunately only available in 35mm right now... but it will be fun to shoot with the M7.

So jealous of you guys with those. Still have a plan to snag a GS645w at some point.
Until then, post your (not so) recent dumpster pics!!

Yea, found I really like the 40mm focal length while shooting the Voigtlander 40mm f/2. I got the GW690 off here maybe a month ago? Only had a chance to shoot about 4 rolls through it, let a buddy check it out after Florence since I didn't like it in a box in the back of my truck anyway, and need to get it back from him. I'd love to shoot some Chrome with it, but I'm too lazy to send it out to be developed, and he takes months to process E-6 so I tend to stick to negative stock.

I am completely blown away by the IQ of the GW690. (I have the iii, but same lens). Just insane detail even wide open. Rivals my A7ii.
I process E-6 in my apartment. Film Photography Project or Freestyle Photo carry the "Arista Rapid E-6 Kit". $30 develops 8-10 rolls. So easy, especially if you already do B/W. Just 3 different solutions (2 Developer, 1 Blix).
Honestly, the hardest part is the initial mixing of the 3 solutions because it has to be done at @110º F. But that takes all of 10 minutes.
When you want to develop a few rolls, drop the 3 containers in the sink with hot tap water to get the liquid up to around 100ºF. I don't sweat the temps TOO much. As long as it's close. You can work at lower temps, but then it takes quite a bit longer to develop.
At 100ºF it's 6.5 min Developer 1, rinse 7 times, 5.5 min Developer 2, rinse, then 6.5 min Blix, rinse 5 min and hang. @25 min. It's amazing to see chromes come out of the tank...

If you plan to dev a lot of C41 and E6, treat yourself to a sous-vide. It is really a game changer. And FYI - I typically get around 20 rolls of 120 per kit.
Thanks Gary and Huss! I just got my hands on some Acros that I'm waiting to try out. I should also give Delta 100 and 400 a go.
Huss, I guess this was in the range of 1 to 2 minutes. I forgot to mention that I used a 10-stop ND. I used a Lee Seven5 filter system at the time, and unfortunately a lot of the long-exposure shots are ruined by flare and light leaks from the filters. I just got some screw-in ND filters instead, they should work a lot better.
