Hey Derek. Only cropping and slight shadow boost on this one. The morning sky was super overcast yet pretty bright. P160 can sometimes give a pinkish hue in brighter light. I am not a big fan of this stock for sure and find P400 to be way better.

did you try to recover a blown grey sky here?

i might have gotten a little of that on one of my shots from the last roll too, just have never seen it so severe.
Now we're talkin'!! Glad to see you joining the analog dumpster movement! Portra 160 has always been a weird film for me. I really don't like the (occasional) color casts and try to only use it at night where it is more predictable. If I could own only one film stock it would be Portra 400. Are you home developing?

nah, i am much too lazy for developing at home. i like portra 160 colors, but grey sky is always troubling.
Nice portrait. Back when I had labs dev and scan, some of them applied slight color correction during scanning which I didn't like. It was so bad it made my film images look like digital!
Fall is here in Middle TN. The fields are being harvested, the wildflowers are making their last grasp at sunlight before all turns to brown. Ilford fp4+, Nikon FM2n, developed in good old d76 1:1 and scanned on a pakon f135+. First with the lowly nikon 35-70/3.3-4.5 w/ yellow filter, second is with the series e 75-150 w/ yellow filter.
Dusted off the ol' Pentax MX, took her for a spin. Just some candids of my neighbors and whatnot. SMC Takumar 55mm f/1.8 and Portra 400, lab scans, minor tweaks in LR.
