Edward, great feel with the Kodak Gold. I often process my digital files with a Gold film simulation, but these actual film shots just have so much more depth to them. Very nice!

Greatly appreciate your feedback, shujert! Thanks!

Hoping this comes to pass, but I have a line on a white faced Rolleiflex for an absurdly cheap price. It looks to have some issues, but it’s my “Holy Grail” of a camera.
Turned out to be a fake. Looks like someone tried to make one, did a crap job, and dumped it on a thrift store. My search continues.

If you haven't looked, there are a couple of sweet Rolleiflex's on the fm buy sell... maybe more than you want to spend, but they look solid, and you def want a fully-functioning film camera. Nothing will ruin the fun more than a camera with issues. If I didn't have the 500 C/M, I'd consider a 'Flex.

Just be careful with the focusing lever. It is vulnerable to break off.
Yeah, pot metal on a pretty important part. I already reached out to the guy that repairs these...so I’m ahead of the game.
I am so glad I bought a Hasselblad (503CX from the B&S Board) about a year ago. I'm already invested in the Pentax 6x7 system but the 'Blad is so much more portable.
These all shot on Fuji Acros 100, and using the KEH bargain grade CF80 f/2.8 that I had bought and used previously on P645N and P645D cameras (adapted!).

I found a mint 500 C/M + 80 CF in the FM B&S earlier this year, and I couldn't be happier. I briefly had a Kowa Six MM kit a few years ago but quickly grew tired of the size and weight of that beast. The 500 is small and lightweight in comparison! (And sharper)
These are from a roll of Eastman5222. I started the roll in a Pentax ME Super and finished it in a Canon F-1. I had replaced light seals and mirror dampers in both cameras, a first for me.
Some shots taken at high shutter speeds on the F-1 (not these) show dark bands on the RHS. I presume that indicates shutter speed issues?

If the F1 has a horizontal travel shutter, then yes. But it's a timing thing that a technician should be able to correct.
Oh, man. It's been my dream for the last 7 years to move to LA (I got divorced 7 years ago. X-wife didn't want to move to LA. Now I can!!). Most of my clients are there and it would be good for my biz. But, yeah. The fires, drought, floods and the Big One are keeping me in NY. For now.

I see you're not worried about our landslides. Which is good.
