Awesome colour and resolution from your Nikon equipment Edward. Have you revealed your 'gear duplicity' to the Leica thread community yet? I promise to conceal your secret! 😉

Has anyone here used LR 6 or any other software to stitch together several scanned film files into a panorama? If so, how did it go and any tips ?
I've done it once or twice. I scanned the uncut strip of slides on my Minolta Scan Dual IV, running through Vuescan on Mac OS X.
I don't recall any issues. My scanner doesn't have dust/scratch removal, so healing those is always my biggest challenge.
If you do find challenges using LR6 then I also recommend the Hugin freeware program for more tricky stitching. You can manually define control points for panoramas where automated stitching runs o to difficulties. Hugin can be a bit of a challenge in itself regarding options!

Thank you David! No I haven’t, but there is actually another double agent here, Gary, and yourself of course
Took a roll of film out of the fridge to test a Zorki-4 rangefinder. Turned out that the film had already been exposed in a Nikon L35 AF/AW. Funny to see, though, that some of the shots have same themes, despite at least half a year between them.
Ilford HP5 plus in HC110 dilution B, Nikon Coolscan 9000ED.

Thanks again Edward, and yes, I should also have remembered Gary's duplicity, just like mine!
I'm really still a major GAS-afflicted person and so I recently bought a Canon F-1 body (original model).
I previously had a T-90 and loved using that, so I have FD/FL 20, 24, TS35, 50 f/1.4 SSC and the 80-200 f/4 L lenses. I'm looking forward to shooting with this set up. For now, here's a photo of the old girl. I have another 50 f/1.4 SSC that was converted to Canon EF and it proved to be one of the very best 50 lenses I have.
At the end of the day I get great satisfaction from the tools as much as shooting with them.

Lovely camera, David. I had the new F1 as my first serious camera back in 1983, but I used to borrow this one from a friend. They’re built like a tank.
