They’re bricks but it’s better handling than I expected. It’s on loan from a friend but I’ve actually got it on the buy/sell boards for him too. He’s highly motivated and negotiable and the kits actually got more parts that aren’t listed, waiting on a full inventory, believe it’s got a spare body as well. But might take it off his hands permanently myself! More I look at these more I like it! I have some Ektar I’ll post tomorrow.

Always loved the big Mamiya's. Tempting to get another "small" kit
Nice film work everyone! In an effort to get this thread 'back on the front page', here's a less than stellar shot from my recent trip out to Yosemite. The park was smoky and the skies were 'severe clear'. But, as my friend Dan told me, when you get lemons, you make lemonade.
Thank you Kenny! I got lucky heading out. Had good moody skies going in and going out. Weather was clear most of the time while we were there (good for camping and vacation, not so good for photography) so glad to get what I got.
To add: Kenny, we are thinking about heading back to west Texas (again!) this winter, maybe back to BBNP. This time though taking our dual sport motorcycles to ride some of those great desert dirt roads along the Rio Grande and getting back into Big Bend State Park, off the beaten path.
Yeah, I need to get out to Big Bend, as well. I tend to want to head up north of Van Horn to the Guadalupe Mtns. There's this shot of Texas' El Capitan that I have in mind but it requires some clouds. The last few times I've tried it, the weather has been 'severe clear'. Oh well, at least it ain't as far as Yosemite.

Can I just say that I love the Olympus XA4 as the perfect pocketable travel camera? Well, I just did. Here are 2 from GTNP and YNP, film was TriX, developed in hc110
Also did a little blog post on this if you want to read it, just click on the www link below.
Kenny,
Really like the 1st one.Great reflection shot takeaway.
Look like you got the exposure right on this one!
Great meeting up with you. Wish I had a few more days there
Hi, Dan, these look good to my eye and you made nice lemonade on that last one. As I mentioned before, the color on the valley floor got better over the 4 or 5 days I was there. I would have been better served to wander the river looking for this type of shot than traipsing around to the iconic views. But, there's always next time.
Went down the the brand new Lone Star Flight Museum located at Houston's old Ellington Field and had a look around. Wonderful, new facility. Pentax 67II SLR, SMC Pentax 55mm f4, Cinestill800T film. Adjusted the white balance on these, hope it looks okay. The lighting is daylight fluorescent, not tungsten and there was a cast.
Headed from Phoenix to Boise next weekend. Going to mostly pack digital but I think I’m going to bring my Ikon Nettar and a few rolls of Acros and Ektar and head through Zion to Salt Lake City and over. Hope to get some interesting shots to share.
Ken, some nice work withe 800T. I've had mixed luck with it.
In dusk shots, seemed to be fine on color.
Daytime, I've used a yellow filter & it's worked most of the time.
I've got some 50D & it seems to be flat on yellows.
