David, landscapes are my passion, just don't get quite as much opportunity as of late to focus on it. I was pleased with the results. Been using nothing but hc-110 with kentmere films but pleased with d-76. The results are a little more pleasing to my eye.
Kids getting temporary tattoos at an arts and crafts fair in Venice. It was cute seeing how they really wanted them, then were worried that it would hurt, then were really happy with them.
From yesterday. Ektar, canon 7ne, 17-40L, unicolor c41, pakon.
I agreed to show some members of the Lawrenceburg Photographic Society around my part of the state for some waterfall shooting and early fall colors. Good day, spent the entire day shooting. 2 rolls of ektar and 2 roll of portra 160.
These were all from Short Springs State Natural Area, specifically Machine Falls.

Adam, that 50/1.8 series e is such a sleeper lens. Nice processing, gritty street look to it.
Thanks!
Ironically, I'm not a big fan of that particular 50mm design in any of its variations, I prefer the older & larger 50/1.8 AI and 50/2. But they're decent, cheap and plentiful so I seem to always end up owning 1-2 of them
Jon, great processing with C-41 and the Ektar films. Love how your greens and shadows turned out - I found Ektar very pleasing. Only issue is sometimes a bluish cast in dark shadows. How did you adjust the white balance in your digitized negatives? By dark and white point curve selection?
I have just come back from a very relaxing late summer holiday in Greece and the island of Samos. I traveled light with my Mamiya 6 and 50/75 and 150mm lenses and my Rolleiflex 2.8F
The images below are from the Mamiya 6 all taken with Ektar 100 and either the 50mm or the 75mm lens and some with the addition of the Mamiya 7 polariser that also fits on the Mamiya 6 lenses. The lenses on this camera are impossible to beat for sharpness and clarity. All scanned in with a Nikon Coolscan 9000 self developed with the Fuji Hunt Kit at 35'C for 5:30min. The dynamic range of negative colour film is just amazing and all images were exposed for the shadows.
I am still developing the remaining 10 rolls - a few images to follow over the coming weeks.

Thanks for the comments and I am glad you noticed. Most of my work is done in lightroom. I'm not into heavy editing with film but ektar does leave a blue cast in the shadows. I could compensate with a warming filter however what I did is use the gradient tool and/or the brush tool to balance out the WB in the shot. I would add some warmth to the shadow areas to even things out. Quick and simple though not always perfect. Sometimes I may bring the warmth down (and temp sometimes with that magenta cast that sometimes pops up) in the highlights for more even balanced. I find portra does not doe this as drastically however any c-41 becomes somewhat problematic from strong shadows to strong highlights. Just the nature of it. I choose to edit in post instead of carrying a bunch of filters. Come to think of it, even shooting digital I often run into this, workflow is the same.
