Three recent shots with my newly acquired Fujifilm TX-1, the original version of the Hasselblad Xpan, and 45mm f4 lens. Agfa Vista 200 film, scanned with Nikon Coolscan 9000 ED.
Scenes from a public parc almost in front of my house.
After 3.5 years of 140 mile round trip commute, next week will be my last. I go from central time zone to eastern and commute in darkness (both ways) to light and everything in between. Often get great sunrises and sunsets. Here are just a few from the last roll I had in my Minolta freedom escort. Fuji xtra 400. This was from the month of august, trip to and from work.
cross this lake twice a day, Nickajack lake, part of the TN River
Last roll of this very interesting film stock. Rebranded "focus 100." Expired but unsure who originally produced it. Warm tones, I wonder if it was old rebranded Konica Minolta or ferrania...anywho, leica iiif, canon 28/3.5 ltm, unicolor c41, pakon scan
Hope everyone is out shooting lots of film! Look forward to seeing what you've got.
Got a tentative little project been brewing. I am trying to accurately depict the rural countryside of middle TN which is in some sense timeless, other times in decay and to contrast, in growth. I want to do this in black and white and have been casually doing this off and on for the past year. This past weekend I went out and shot a couple rolls over a few days. Here are a few. All on delta 100, canon A1 with either a wolfpro branded 135/2.8 (tokina, tamron, vivitar??) w/ yellow filter or the 50/1.8 with an orange filter. Developed in id-11 stock, pakon scanned, minor tweaks in lr5. Last image with the vivitar 28/2.5 w/ yellow filter.
Got a phone call from someone who is writing a book on music producer Peter Asher and saw my print of Asher at Huss's gallery in San Pedro last week. Scanned a few more today - literally forgotten for many years, but this one I like pretty well. Original is Fuji RFP, but I like it better in black and white. I know it was shot on a Nikon and with a Norman 400B off to the side to overpower the sun. I shot a lot with a Nikkor 35mm f/2 back then and this looks like that focal length to me.
Once there was quite a bit, now not so much, in the town of Red Boiling Springs, TN. Delta 100, canon A1, fd50/1.8 w/orange filter, id-11 stock, pakon, lr5
