I have a bunch to share from last month's visit to Big Bend National Park and didn't know how I wanted to share so I will go by our excursions. This is from our first full day. We were hiking up Mariscal Mountain for a view into Mariscal Canyon. The canyon is so steep and deep (1800-2000' straight down) that we dared not overhang the edge and never saw the Rio Grande from up top. Packed light for the hike and camera gear was lightweight Minolta xg1 with both the 50 rokkor x and celtic 28/2.8. Film was ektar. Here a a few from the hike up. Round trip was 8 or so miles up and back but we added an extra mile or so going to the top. Souped at home, scanned on Pakon f135+ and lr5 for light processing.
A few more selected photos taken with Canon FTb, Canon 50/1.8 S.C. lens on Kodak Tri-X 400 film (35 mm), developed with Kodak D76 developer, undiluted. Digitized by photographing the negatives with my A7R and Canon 100/2.8 macro lens and inverting the channels in PS.
Remember I just mentioned having lost the negatives from Viet Nam?
Well, while cleaning out the garage I came across a familiar looking plastic bag.
Probably 100 shots. The negatives are in OK to rough shape, but I think there's enough content there for a good set.
From my second roll of kentmere 100. Think I have dialed in my times for dil h. Agitation first 30 seconds and gentle every 2 minutes thereafter for 14m30sec. Pakon scanned, lr5. Camera was a canon A1 with chrome nosed 35/2 (element is yellowed by thorium for pseudo yellow filter). From a hike yesterday, mostly off trail.

They all turned out great! Number one is my favorite!
Along the River Road through BBNP, a remote 4 wheel drive road that is 56 miles long. We went 32 miles in to our destination (beginning of Mariscal Canyon) and back out again. Some of the dessert view. Ektar, Minolta xg1 with rokkor 50 and 28, souped at home, pakon scanned, lr5.

Looks good! The river pictures in particular are better controlled. My favorite film for these subjects in Pan F+ for its handling of shadow detail (at least in rollfilm, IIRC 135 is a different emulsion). But from this maybe K100 is worth a try.
Thank you wfektar. It was a crapshoot buying a 100' of k100 but it is so cheap I figured I would give it a shot. I like the k400 and use it right along with hp5 and triX. The k100 appears to be a good traditional emulsion with low grain and I believe it will be a keeper. I will have to try it in Rodinal soon and see how it handles that.
A few more rolls from my last outings.
1st from Yosemite
The black oaks in winter covering. Mamiya 7, 6x7 MF, Ilford Pan F+
Pohono Bridge, Mamiya 7, 6x7 MF, Ilford Pan F+
I developed 3 rolls of expired Ilford Pan F+, two from 1998, one for 2008.
Just to be careful, I thought I would do stand development since I had success before.
At first the result looks like a disaster!. The shadows had an odd "blotchy" look. But after a few short experiments, realized opening up the histogram for a truly flat scan was necessary to keep the black-point. I don't recall this problem but easy to fix.
Here are a few more from a local park, all take with the Mamiya 7, 65mm, Ilford Pan F+
I'm loving the medium format shots on here! Makes me want to get a Mamiya 645 or something similarly affordable to give it a try. Here's a couple with Konica Autoreflex TC and Hexanon 40/1.8 on expired (2011) Kodak Ultramax 400
