Thank! It's great to be able to contribute to the thread. I've made it up to around Page 400 whilst waiting on film/development and found inspiration in abundance.
Ektar, more Portra, more Delta 400 and Tri-X are already on the way.
Next step is to try developing some myself. Keeping my eyes peeled for anyone selling off their Darkroom.
How did you scan your negatives? They look super crisp and clean!

Just joined FM a few days ago and I'm happy to see that film is well-represented.
Welcome to FM and to the film thread specifically. You live in one of THE most photographically beautiful countries in the world so I look forward to your contributions!

Tom, what's even more depressing is the negatives from when I was in Vietnam 69-70.
I had them up til a year or two before I got back into photography, around 2003.
Probably on a couple of rolls, not stored will. All I now have is about 10 8x10 prints that are also in no-so-great condition. I have since scan & cleaned them up.
They represent the collection good enough to keep & share.
My therapy for their loss is....to shoot more film!
My scanning with B&W is still a bit of a work in progress, finding the right settings.
These are all M7/Ilford Delta 400/35 Lux ASPH 'pre FLE' and a yellow filter.
Looks good, especially the last two, great tonal range.
The blacks look a little block in the 1st (could be my at work monitor).
I have had good luck with Ilford films
More from my favorite film, Neopan Acros. You've seen a lot of this scene from my posts. It's not the same image over and over. I have shot this scene many, many times. It's my favorite spot in the entire world. Beautiful, peaceful, an utterly spiritual place. One day I hope I can return to this monastery and see the building in the background. This is as close as the public is allowed, aside from one day of the year.

Thanks (and thanks Dan.) With the Monochrom I probably would have amped up the contrast and made it more obvious, but I'm loving the subtlety of B&W film, glad you got it!
Love the Neopan work rattymouse, look forward to trying this film myself sometime in the future. What a teasing vista it is with only one annual day of access, good luck making it the day you're there.
And love all those shots, theweekendlens, look forward to more.
