20% increase in price for all Fujifilm films coming this october. Stock up now on Acros and other films to avoid paying this increase. I'm going to put in an order for 500 rolls of Acros. Time to go long.

Wow! That would last me 20 years or so.
I'm a 5-10 roll per week kind of guy. These are 120 rolls that get only 10 shots each so that is one reason why I use so much. Plus for any travel, I use 30-40 rolls easily.
Heck, I shoot maybe 2 rolls of 35mm a month...if that. In the camera now is a roll that has been in there for almost three months. Still have most of the roll to go. Kinda sad, but when you don't have anything that is inspiring you at the moment, what can you do?

kwoodard, I was shooting the same almost 2 years ago. I loathed scanning at home and paying for c-41 processing. I also could not find anywhere local to process 120. Then, everything changed First, I acquired a Kodak pakon f135+. Now a roll takes 2-3 minutes to scan. Secondly, I started developing at home (cut my price and hassle considerably). Now, I rarely pick up my 5dmkii and keep no less than 3 different cameras loaded and shooting film daily. Not shooting as much as Tom but shooting 2-5 rolls 35mm a week.

That Pakton sounds sweeet. Sadly I'm a mac user and I dont think you can run the software on a Mac.
I live in the valley, Sacramento... With the drought, nothing worth looking at really. I have been in a photo funk for a long time. Haven't wanted to shoot anything for a while. I have done shoots by request, but nothing that I have wanted to go out and do myself.

You can on a mac, plenty of users. Just need a VMware program running xp. Lots of options, plenty of support on the facebook page. Plus, you get the built in DX profiles/Kodak sauce for accurate color profiles for most 35mm films. Seriously changed my 35mm film life!
