A Curtis P-40 from the Central TX airshow over the weekend. Nikon F100 w/28mm f2.8D, Neopan 400 in D-76, Epson V600 scans. I wanted to haul the Shenhao 4X5 up but decided on portability at the last minute.
These are the last photos taken of my wife before her passing and our first time ever using a classic film camera. We both enjoyed the camera very much and had a wonderful time that day playing with film.
I've shot here before but wanted a scene to check the sharpness of the recently acquired 55mm
Definitely better at f11 than f16. Trying to see the "balance" of DOF & detail.

Thank you carcrafter for sharing these images and the story. Very sorry for your loss. There is something special about film and memories.
I echo the sorrow for the loss. I can't even begin to comprehend it.
I also agree, that film is all about memories. A HUGE reason why I abandoned digital and returned to film.

Well, now, that is just spectacular. IIRC 160NS is a color neg -- how does it look in color? Though I suspect the BW as you have it works better.
Thanks very much Wfektar - not keen on the colour version as the sky is grey and drab...
Cheers! Simon
