I don't normally post "test shots", but I just got through rebuilding a Graflex RB 4x5 SLR that was given to me after my Dad passed. It sat in a case, with holders, for over forty years. After some serious tear-down of the focal-plane shutter mechanism and re-timing as best I could do, it works.... The case contained two lenses, 250mm Tessar, and what looks to be a Dallmeyer, about 300mm focal length (f8-ish). I will need to make a lensboard for that one.
Here is the second negative, from the first holder (first neg was not fully seated in the rails), and it is decent, not great, a starting point. This lens is a Tessar formula (built by Ross, London) 250mm f4.5, and the photo was shot at f5.6, on HP5+, orange filter, souped in HC-110 (1:63 Dil.). I like the rendering of the background highlights, but I think my processing needs to be adjusted a bit, as the negatives look a little thin. The focus point is pretty much dead-on, so the internal lens/mirror/image plane alignment is good, which is a relief.
I will try a few more shots today; a stone mill nearby to start with...
A couple from the stone mill: Graflex RB 4x5 SLR, Tessar 250mm f4.5 (@ f5.6), orange filter, HP5+ souped in HC-110 (1:63 Dil), time extended to 12 minutes @ 68*F. The negatives look better, but maybe another tweak in the works.
Need a shorter F.L. lens for this camera, a 150-165mm might work...
