taemo, those tiny little thumbnails don't do those shots justice. Great colors and composition. What film? Looks almost like slide film.
Totally agree. Much much too small!
Where is that third shot? Is that on Taiwan? Looks VERY familiar to me.

made the images bigger. the first one was Gold 200 and the last 3 are Superia 200 then scanned on a V600.
finally getting the hang with scanning C-41 on the V600 and getting the colors that I want

The first one was taken in Kauai, the last 3 are Oahu (Waikiki beach, Byodo-in Temple and North Shore beach)

Awesome scans. You REALLY got the hang of that. Very nicely done.

I have an XPan I with 45 and 90. I would dearly love a 30, but they are sooo expensive...
I used to think like that, and it has actually prevented me from buying the camera. However, now I tend more towards the long lens, doing something different with an XPan, like portraits on a wide background. Still I don't have it though

+1 and this makes me tempted to buy one.
Hmmm.... V600? I have one of those on the desk in front of me, not yet used. I have to try it then
my advise to you is to tweak the image the way you want to in the Epson software itself
adjust the RGB channel individually to get the colors that you want.
2400dpi 48-bit is the max I would bother
I brought the first 2 Xpan shots to my local lab the other day and getting it printed 8x20, looking forward on picking them up next week.

I only have the 45mm, I thought about buying the 90mm but I didn't want to be swapping lenses when travelling and was finding that I could get most shots just with the 45mm.
Sometimes I wish I had the 30mm but not a necessity, also you can get a Nikkor PC-E 35mm and use it on the Xpan with the right adapter for half the price of the 30mm.
