I don't have a single photograph I've taken that I am as proud of as I would be of this had it been mine.
intentional or not, you have my envy for your result.
Whoa, such powerful words, and feelings! I appreciate it very much, and I thank you from the pit of my soul! I try my heart out, and sometimes, I feel as if I am a lost cause! I do enjoy these photo's personally, don't misunderstand, however, I feel as if I fall way out of the boundaries that these camera's seem to be designed for! I have taken some more photo's most of today, and I am going to post them as soon as possible, most are with my Nikon, and some are with my Rollei 6008 Pro, using the Fuji insta film lines, and sadly hand scanned via my Galaxy S IV, as my dang Epson V500 has lost its plug! Thanks again, and happy photography! -Americo.rodriguez
Really wish I could get into film. A Contax G2 to be exact. I'm having a hard time letting go of my current digital setup. Unfortunately that's the only way I'll be able to afford it. Film just seems more "real" to me
Sorry for cross-posting from the MF-Nikkor-thread:
Nikon FM2, Fisheye-Nikkor 16/3.5, don't recall which of the built-in-filters was used,
expired Rollei Retro 100 (aka Agfa APX 100) at Ei 200 in Diafine
"6 knots", same technical stuff like above
and one from a surprise-roll (found this 2012 exposed roll among the rolls from this years vacation):
60 years old Rolleicord III, Fomapan 100 in Diafine
A Rollei 6008 shot, through the Rollei Zeiss 80mm 2.8 HFT Planar lens, and finally scanned via my Nikon D800 plus Nikkor 50mm 1.8D lens, on tripod, sadly.
As I normally do, I split the roll between cameras and took a few in the F3/50MP on this roll but I ended up wasting nearly all of the rest of the exposures on a grasshopper lol. Oh well. All of these are OM-2SP and some combination of 50/2 Macro, 50/1.4 and 28/2 on Tmax 100. ISO is 64. I develop Acros at 100, but I don't consider that a workable option for TMax in rodinal anymore, and prefer this instead.
Finally got some time during my home renovation to scan some film. It became painfully obvious that I need a better scanner for 35mm. Painfully obvious.
I did have a few frames I was happy with, but I think I'm going to try some of the other scanning software and see what I can pull out of this little flatbed.
All three are from a Nikon F3 with the 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor on Fuji Neopan 400. I don't even have my Nikon kit anymore, that's how long it's been since I was able to scan my film.
