It is nice to have options for C-41 and E-6 processing; I'm down to one lab locally, and it looks like that may turn to zero by the end of the summer here. From that point on, it will be mail-order, which is not the best...
Hey Edd. Where I live in Shropshire, it's pretty rural. If you find a lab, it's at Boots, which is a high-street pharmacy and are absolutely terrible. So everything is always mail order here. I mostly shoot for colour negative these days, when I use film, so glad I've found somewhere I like!
Guys I wanted to guage some interest, I have a pretty serious Linhof Tech III 5x7 /4x5 set that I'm helping a family friend sell, would that be of interest to anyone? I was going to put it up on the B&S board today.
AbramG: Sounds like an interesting setup for someone if the price is right. I've been shooting with Linhof' for over 30 years, and would not part with them...built like the proverbial "brick----house".
Both look excellent. Was it possible to get a tad lower to avoid convergence with the leaves and roof line? I prefer the silhouetted tree in the b&w photo but the school house in the color!
Had fun the other weekend with my grandson and wife. Here are a few from a roll of kodak bw400cn on a minolta 7000 with 35-70 f4, all wide open with a nd filter on.
Great series; the black cat in the pub... very nice...
Here are two "grab" shots of a storm I ended up driving through last night. I stayed in the Volvo for these, with the window-mount supporting the rig. Shot with EOS 1V-HS, 17-40L, Tri-X (in HC110).

Thanks Edd. Those are some very dramatic images!
It sure was noisy! I'm working on a group of images from central Nevada, another recent trip that gave me somewhere of about 1/2 day shooting time after my project work. Did a mix of 2-1/4 and 35mm, so I'll post up what looks the most interesting from each format.
I'm so excited! I snagged a 50mm Distagon for my Hasselblad on eBay this week and it just arrived. Finally found one within the price range I was willing to pay. Now my old-school C lens set is complete.
