I'll take your bad, or nothing special, over my nothing at all! Waiting for film, is a long, long, sad wait! next time i'll go down to my local camera shop! Great work everyone, i hope I could offer something at least one half a half decent soon!
Figured I would share and interesting experience today on this thread as it is very relevant to our passion for film. Went by the W.S. "Dad" Lively museum in McMinnville, TN and learned a bit about this once famous portrait photographer and founder of the Southern School of Photography. He had at the time, the largest camera that produced lifesize images. 3 of his 30"x60" glass plate slides (yes, he photographed on a 30x60 back) are in the Smithsonian. Apparently he was a very famous portrait photographer of that period. I also was able to see some of his early color emulsions called auto chromes, on glass plates. Very primitive specimens that he made himself using colored starch between 2 glass plates. Not much on the internet about him but here is a link I found with some information about him. http://www.redbubble.com/people/bhbarchives/journal/7104129-southern-school-of-photography
I received a pack of Fuji 400H with a bulk purchase from eBay a couple weeks ago - it expired in 2007 but judging by the other film I received from the seller, it seems like it was frozen. I don't really shoot much Fuji negative film, but I am interested in working this into some portrait sessions this spring. Does anybody want to be a guinea pig and test one of the rolls for me? You'd have to shoot it outside (and determine if there's been any speed loss) and it's 220, not 120. It's a free roll of film - you just have to share your results (and shoot it relatively quickly). Obviously somebody who I know and is in the US would be helpful.

What do you want shot? People? How do want the speed loss tested - by an in camera meter exposure and straight scan? What do you want it shot it - the same thing you plan to shoot it?
I can run it through the Mamiya 7 with any of my three lenses for you and send it to Precision in Austin for dev and scans if you want.
No need to be scientific - just shoot it at 400 and let me know how it goes. People and places - maybe some high contrast scenes to see how it's held up over time.
I should still have your address, just confirm it with me and I'll put it in the mail!
