Thanks Michael...; the film shooting is bringing back a lot of fun for me with the "old gears" (as PetKal would say) .
I just got back from NV, and took a side trip to Beatty and Death Valley, so I have a few more rolls to process. Now I need to get a decent scanner (V750-M Pro) for the larger negatives, as my HP Scanjet is okay, but not up to getting the max IQ from 60mm x 120mm and 4 x 5 inch formats.
Here's a little snap from my father's backyard in Monterey a couple of days before Christmas. Mamiya 7. 65mm. Drum scanned, of course. Now if we only had this much vegetation in Culver City.
Got back last weekend from a week camping, hiking and photographing Big Bend National Park. I did manage to shoot a couple rolls of film while primarily shooting digital. Just scanned a couple rolls so I will post from the first roll I have worked on. All were shot with ektar100 on a canon ae-1 with either a 28/2.8 or 50/1.8. Walgreens developed and home scanned. You can go over to the landscape forum and see some of my digital work I have been posting. Hope ya'll don't mind an image heavy post

Looking good here; the daytime shot could have the shadows opened just a bit more, considering that it was a pretty gray/white sky. I like both regardless
I am in the process of getting my 4x5 back in service (Linhof gear: Master Technika and Monorail), along with my darkroom for wet processing. Could be some good fun, but the digital world does spoil us all a bit.
Here is another from my side trip to Death Valley a few weeks ago, and I'm still trying to get the best out of the analog to digital conversion. More work needed though...
Ceder, Rattymouse: Thank you for your kind words; most appreciated here. This thread and the contributors have really renewed my spirit into image making.
