Here's a few pics from my first real time out with my new Pentax 6x7, which was also my first time shooting as well as developing color film.
Portra 160vc, shot at iso 80 or 100, processed as normal:
Portra 160vc, accidently shot at iso 800(oops), processed as normal.
I think that's pretty good proof of just how forgiving color negative film can be. I was positive that shot and the 3 others I took at that setting were going to be completely unusable, but, to my surprise they weren't even that bad.
It is definitely a nice lens. I love it for its compactness and smooth operation. It is relatively sharp with low distortion. It fit wells on my D200 and FM3A.
Nice vibrant colours mrladwig,
Kodak Gold 100 and 200 were always my favourite films to shoot (at least when processed right) - great balance of IQ for the price.
I'm seeing a lot of posterisation and clipping since I updated my firefox but nothing of the sort in ie or safari, bear that in mind with the following image:
19mm Elmarit-R on Leica R8. Fuji Pro 400H with a lil NR done in the sky.
