Actually, I've been told it's a cemented pair meniscus lens,
not a simple single meniscus lens.
Have to edit my metadata.
Speaking of digital, all I ended up doing was to open the scanned .tiff in CS5-ACR, used spot removal for the dust, and cropped.
I kept the the contrast curve linear.
I tried my digital workflow on this scan, didn't like any of it, and doesn't seem to need any.
That's great, I like it the way it is.

Lovely shots Zalmy. Your light and colors and angles are great!
Thanks . And Portra 800 IS crazy expensive. I went the other day to pick up some film and when he rung it all up I had to put back all the Portra 800s.
This was a very expired roll of 220 that came free with a whole bunch of other film I bought.
and here is another with Portra 800. this time in 35mm. F4, 28mm.

I was hurried and just did a LR print export of a collage. It's way faster than using PS and a template. I hate computers.
For what it's worth, Nate's flickr stream of xpan pictures convinced me to pick up an xpan II & 4/45 today on a whim. What a wonderful machine, can't wait to have the first roll dev'ed.
