kidtexas that is great and a bit eery. Great vibe.
Also like that portrait yofredmoik. Never understood the jumping thing, see it everywhere though.
Thanks Zach! I am really glad I went through my roll again out of boredom. I was just about to toss the disc and then realized that this shot was a winner.

Always awesome when that happens. And toss the disc?! I keep damn near everything, literally. Thousands of out of focus photos . I'm working on an old 4x5 shot from the Cathedral right now that I never edited. Took a bit of doing but I am starting to like it more. Really had to work on the contrast and light a lot. I think it will work good as a platinum print.

Haha, well, I have a number of dedicated storage media, so a disc full of crap photos and 1 winner isnt worth keeping! I usually take the photos I like from the disc, back them up in 3 or so different places, move on. I may have to start keeping the discs I get the photos scanned to, but only if I start getting more keepers -_-. Post up that Cathedral shot when you are done, looking forward to seeing it!

Caleb-
GREAT shots! Love them all - what's that wide angle lens your using? Love the cyclist shot... I'm kind of a wide angle lover.
Sebboh the first and third are very nice. I wish the sign wouldn't be in the first though, but the I love how you framed it and how 4 people are doing something else.
Hassy 50mm, delta 3200, developed at Walmart (bad idea. I think Delta if shot at 3200 has to be pushed a stop (which walmart doesn't do), so these are all underexposed... )

i actually agree, i thought when i took it that the sign with the graffiti would contribute to the setting, but it just ends up looking like two separate compositions overlaid on top of each other. oh, well there was only an instant to get the couple about to kiss anyway.
here's a valentine's day bonus from the same place:
Actually, I'll post a few "couples" shots in honor of Valentine's Day, and then I am going into posting hibernation while I go and create some images for a couple weeks.
i believe it is grand vista park (in sf of course), i'm still exploring the city though and didn't note the name when i was there. it wasn't all couples' love though:
