Tri-X in D-76 (and using the amazing polarization gadget made for the M Leicas : )
I love the swing out polarizer! I used one for years and if I owned a Leica with an internal light meter, it would be part of the kit. Have fun with it.

..thank you! 🙂
To be honest every time I use it I kinda laugh and say "go go gadgeto polarizer" in my mind, and think of the fond memories of just using a pol filter on my SLR's, like a normal person 😅
It is kinda fun though - awkward, but fun!
What really annoys me though is the way it mounts (clamps) to the front of the lens, or to put it another way - the fact that the front barrel of the lenses is just a millimeter or two larger in diameter than the screw-in filters - just enough for the swing out filter to not clamp to the UV filter I kinda always have on, and as you can see in the pic this little 'lip' prevents it from just sliding over the UV (like the hood does, in a way). Such a dumb design..
So it's always a hassle of taking the UV off, mount the gadget, then do the reverse when you want to shoot without the pol filter again.. (or leave it on, which is super awkward as well).
I guess I cut put some thin strips of tape inside the clamping part of the swing out filter to make it grip the smaller circumference of the UV, but I rather didn't in a way.
The moment I saw it, before reading the caption, I wondered if it had been taken using a Zeiss lens. (Although I dare say the Arca Swiss helps, too …. )
Sometimes this thread feels like it's on a mission to convince me Holgas are actually great cameras!
Thanks, they ARE great cameras!
Honestly, if someone told me I had to get rid of all my cameras but one, I'd keep the Holga. That would mean selling my Leica, my Canon P, and everything else (I already sold my Nikon and Minolta SLRs). It's a very limited camera, but when it works it's pure magic. I got 11 keepers out of this last roll of 12 frames.
