No, this is part of a defunct National Forest Service guard station that has been unused since 2002.

Seems such a waste. Could be converted i.e. maintained, and used as a place people can book to stay from the NFS. Like a camping site.

Good idea but the Forest Service is struggling with funding cuts and hoping there's enough to pay the firefighters. A high desert Air B&B is kinda low on the list.
