The Cannonball Baker Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash starts at the Red Ball Garage in Manhattan and ends at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. The record was set in May of 2020 when a trio of drivers using a modified Audi S6 and taking advantage of the empty roads at the height of the COVID lockdown, covered the 2,816 miles in 25 hours and 39 minutes.

Ahh, gotcha. I was about 1/2 mile away from the Portofino. The marker there has a digital clock and perpetual flame - something that I have photographed (of course!) a few times.
Nice picture! Call it a success. Riley looks handsome against the clouds plus a little softness in the focus adds to the effect. I like the one of the driveway living room too.
