The photo is of the fully restored Holliston (MA) Eight-Arch Bridge, circa 1846. It was lastly owned by CSX and was reported to have carried the last train over it in 1995. It is now part of the Upper Charles River Hiking Trail. Shot with Linhof Technikardan 45, with Rodenstock Grandagon MC 115mm f4.5, on Delta 100 souped in L-110.
What's going on there, people throwing hacky sacks around while trying not to spill their beers?
Thanks, they're playing 'Soft Bocce', a version of Bocce suitable for uneven terrain. One of the rules is you have to have a beer in your hand at all times
Something to do in camp on a recent 8 day whitewater trip on the Main Salmon river in Idaho.
Rush hour at Buckskin Bill's, the only store on an 80 mile stretch of the Main Salmon river in Idaho that has no road access. They do a brisk trade in beer and ice during the summer rafting season. The store is resupplied by jet boat.

First time out since my cataract surgery. My right eye has some haze, which will be corrected and I'm using sixteen dollar glasses from Amazon. Focusing was a bit of a challenge. Reading the meter, adjusting for speed and stops even more so. I loaded the camera in July and somehow miss loaded it and lost three frames on the first roll. Here's a few:
Fujica Super 6, 75mm Fujinar f 3.5, Cat Labs 80, Rodinal 1:50
Dead Restaurant, Beaverton, Oregon
Fujica Super 6, 75mm Fujinar f 3.5
Multnomah Arts Center, Portland, Oregon
I like the look of the film but I don't like the film. I did a ten minute pre-soak and it still turned my fixer blue. Also, it's curly enough to have me looking for Moe and Larry.
