Lately, I have been playing with Canon EOS Rebel cameras (X, Ti and T2) and some cheap zoom lenses . I must admit that I like the results and the overall experience: these cameras are very small and light, AF and exposure seem reliable, and the motorized film advance is very convenient.
For $10 to $20 per camera (zoom included) there is really nothing to complain about.
Canon EOS Rebel Ti with Canon 28-90mm and 50mm STM lenses. Fuji 200 processed with CS41 and converted with Film Scan Converter.

A nightmare development tonight. Was trying to push Kentmere 400 to 800, and as I poured the Xtol in - the baffle fell into the the tank! Sk!t - Put my hand over the hole turned off the light....felt for another tank and switched lids. I finished pouring the Xtol, and hit the timer. One 35mm reel on top of a 120 in a four reel tank. Maybe some of the film shielded some frames? I kept going. The top edge of the 35mm reel got hit, but frames survived, Here are some of them
The 120 roll seems to have been unscathed by the development tank lids unscheduled deconstruction mid development cycle. I'm not sure how I should put it back - as it looks like they used heat to press it on + create a retaining washer on the five nipples that hold the baffle to the lid. It is a shiny, soapy feeling plastic. I prefer these to my stainless steel welded lids, because they don't drip. This was a roll of Kentmere 100 shot at 400 in a newly cleaned lenses, and re-colimated Zeiss Ikonta 521/16. Last roll I mixed up feet and meters. I have another version of this camera in meters - this one is feet. I really didn't think these would come out as sharp as they did - so I am very pleased with the results.
And a few more from our trip to Switzerland in April.
First one was from Lucerne. UltraMax converted to B&W in LR (it worked better in B&W!).
The others are from Neuchatel. All XP2S.
Camera + lens in file name.
A couple more that I'd overlooked from earlier this year.
The first is in the Leicestershire countryside and is Acros 100.
The second is in Nottinghamshire and TriX.
