A great reminder how good Fomapan 100 is.
Yeah it is a gorgeous B&W film at a very reasonable price.
I bought a stash of it when freestyle recently had a clearance on short dated stock, but I'll be buying it again at regular price.
It's actually why I am disappointed that when Light Lens Lab announced they are going to make film, they said they are going to start w B&W.
Why? There already is so much excellent B&W out there, some of it very cheap.
Colour C41 that is not relabelled Kodak is what is needed.

As many of you know, SoCal suffered from some of the most disastrous fires in their history. My brother lives in Malibu and by him equipping his house with a sprinkler system, owning a military surplus fire truck (I am not joking) and dumb luck his house survived but many many others in his neighbourhood are gone.
A couple of days ago was the first time I was able to get over there and visit with him, while surveying what was left. A drive that normally takes an hour tops from my home took three hours as I had to go the back way through the San Fernando valley and through numerous canyon roads to get across to his home. All of which had work crews with one lane only flow in many places.
These pics were taken with a Leica MD-a, Wtulens 17mm f16 (but I think it is more like f22) and Kentmere 400.
The Wtulens is made from recycled Fuji Quicksnap disposable camera lenses - two are used. I like it for specific purposes as it is sharp in the middle, then smears out and vignettes. This trip IMO fit its purpose.
I also took a couple of other cameras with normal 'perfect' lenses, those pics are in the process of getting developed.
Glad your brother was lucky. The area I grew up in (around 30 miles east of where I live now) burned in one of the 2020 Oregon Labor Day fires. It will never be the same. Time for people to start moving out of the way.
Went to a circus last week. I took 30+ pictures of the actual circus and about 6 my family at the circus. After I developed them, I realized I would’ve rather it been the other way around. They’re more important memories for me.

M7 + 28 lux + 500T
You can never have too many pics of your loved ones!
Now show some circus pics so I can be all judgy and say ‘you took a pic of that 22year old female contortionist doing what seems to be unholy instead of pics of, ummm, I forget now’
Dood I got that same effect with my $20 Reto Ultra Wide N Slim and its single plastic lens.
Did you check that QC card that came with the lens? Maybe they forgot to put all the elements in there….

In the future, I'd shoot it at 1000 or 1600 and push, and bring a longer lens. They did say no cameras, but yet didn't blink an eye when I had my m7 around my neck
Well, here are some weird photos. A few nights ago I was taking photos at a concert and on the way home I took out my Holga and shot some multiple exposures of street lights using Delta 3200. I used a meter to see how far underexposed I'd be at f8 and 1/100 (the Holga speed) and snapped enough exposures to make up for it, plus a few extra for good measure. My scanner couldn't distinguish between the frames, but that ended up being cool: I got 6x12 photos!
