Df96 temp was right around 70º and I used the minimal inversion method for 12 minutes (6min x 2 for TMax).
There was still a slight purple hue to the negatives, so that def could be it!
Doubling the developing time for TMax may have something to do with it. I'll add another minute or two next time.
Why am I shooting film again?
I’ve been using 75 @ 4 mins. With a tabular grain film like tmax it would have been 8 mins. Df96 seems to respond better at 75. Also make sure to wash thoroughly - I fill/empty about 12-13 times.
You are shooting film again because when things get bolloxed up you have now created art.

Very nice, and makes me feel good that I just ordered a bunch of Fomapan 100!
Thanks! I like this film; I've mainly shot Fomapan 400 but I'm working my way through 6 rolls of the 100.
I shot these at ISO 50, but the red filter requires three stops of exposure compensation so I set my meter to ISO 12 and added another 2/3 stop of exposure compensation due to the snow. Good thing it was bright out.
I developed these in Rodinal, semi-stand, at 18 degrees C instead of 20 since a lot of people advise using Rodinal at that temperature and the original Rodinal recipe called for it. (Reportedly developing it at 18C reduces grain size a bit compared with 20 degrees, although I will try it at 20 degrees next time since I generally like grain.)

Brad,
This is TMax 100 at ISO 50 in a 1:50 dilution of Rodinal for 12 minutes at 20C. It's a pretty fine grain film to start but I was surprised by the results.

Not wanting to disappoint Huss, I headed over to Multnomah Village and asked passing dog owners if they would mind if I took a picture of their pooch. I could have easily done the same thing by just stepping out the front door since most days there is a parade of dog walkers headed to the parks that's a block away.
