The counter on my Retina IIc wasn't working correctly. It would often count two or more frames at a time. Shout out to Paul Barden who previously did a CLA on my Retina. He offered to fix the counter for free and said it was an easy fix. He suggested I could possibly do it myself but was happy for me to send it to him. He sent very detailed instructions so I decided to operate on the camera myself. After a quick adjustment and reassembly, all is good and the counter appears to be working as it should.
