Yeah those reviews are weird. They also complain about it breaking if they drop it.

Mine must be defective because no light leaks. And the aperture mechanism works that some reviewers claim does nothing. Even though all you have to do is put the shutter on B, take the back off, hold the shutter open and check the aperture opening.
One 'expert reviewer' even claims the actual aperture sizes are f22-f30something. Just looking at my exposures using the Sunny F16 rule shows how clueless those statements are.
