Here's a recent one from my Minolta XD11, Rokkor 58mm f1.4, and Fuji Superia Xtra 400. It was a bit windy that day so even at 1/1000th sec, since I shot it wide open, nothing is in focus. I brought the brightness down quite a bit in post to give it a vignetted feel and I think it looks pretty cool.
Grrr. Yes. And they look all crappy and over-sharpened on flickr. I couldn't resize the original scan small enough to upload here, so I decided to link from flickr.
Thanks. It was really the first time I've used that lens at infinity focus stopped down at like f/11. It's truly an incredibly sharp lens. I am usually one of those bokeh freaks; as portrait photographers usually are, but am now exploring the world of shooting alternative things (other than people). I am really liking my tripod work with the Hassy. Thanks again for your kind comment!
