Looks like you were in Scotland about the same time as my niece and here husband. They were in Edinbrugh, St Andrews and attended a birthday bash for her brother-in-law. At first she wasn't sure about going but had a good time. They were able to meet up with some friends that moved from the US. They have horses and she was able to get some riding in.

It was a great trip. We hit Edinburgh, Inverness, Portree and Isle of Skye. We had two fantastic places to stay. Really was a nice vacation.
OregonSun, What gives - all on page 1323? I have the 1937 original with the 85mm f4.5 Apotar, an Isolette II with the same lens, and I am building another Isolette II with a CL'd Solinar 85mm f4.5. The much later Super Isolette had a 75mm f3.5 Solinar - lens/shutter swap? Was there ever a f2.8?
I found a II and III with the f3.5 on ebay - oops

Whoops, the 2.8 was an error. I have one Isolette II with the Solinar 75mm f/3.5 and one with the Apotar 85mm f/4.5.

Do you find these two lenses, Solinar 75mm f/3.5 and Apotar 85mm f/4.5, perform differently?
I've only shot one roll with the Solinar, but so far I'm not seeing any big differences aside from the focal length. I mostly shoot at f/8-16 though, there might be more noticeable differences at wider apertures.
