I have always loved TLRs. I have a new Minolta Autochord that I want to use, but with it being unused and I’m nervous as hell to use it, she sits pretty on my shelf. When I got it many years ago, the box was crumbling apart. I took the camera out to display and packed the box away. After a year, I was cleaning up and noticed the box had pretty much turned to dust.

You should use her! Worst case she becomes a permanent shelf trophy if you break her. I just had my Autocord (that I swore I wasn't going to buy) CLA'd by Karl Bryan and it's fun to use. I'm a bit envious of the built in meter on yours though.
Wow Kevin - what great looking TLR. If my Zeiss Ikoflex TLR had had a light meter - I doubt I would have sold it. Use it.

If the focus was accurate, how do you like the camera?
I like RF in 135 more than 120.
I may return it ( my friend sold it to me since he upgraded to Mamiya7 but still allow me to return within 45 days if I don't like it )
Pros : It's compact and lightweight. IMO is one of the best medium format for travel.
So many ppl complain about the sound of shutter but I'm good with that.
Cons : It's awkward to take horizontal landscape . The film advance has very strange feeling which I‘m afraid I gonna break it anytime soon.

You can shoot a roll through mine to get the full feel for it.
I checked the Samys site - some of their used gear prices are ok, some are insane!
Insane examples:
Leica R9 body only $2150
Leica M2 body only $3779
Nikon FE body only $360
Yeah, their online prices are mental. Oddly enough they seem pretty reasonable in-store. I bought an Xpro3 Ti from them last year and it was well under typical asking price. No idea what the process is there. They wanted 1700 for the M5 and it was pretty brassed up two-lug so that seems steep.
I pop in there from time to time. They sell the cheap Legacy brand chemicals in their film section.

Yeah they are notorious for breaking the film advance mechanism. If it feels funky now I’d return it while you still can.

Beside the Rollei 3.5F I'm always looking for another medium format which I mentioned here before.
I'm thinking should I get the Mamiya 6 afterward,but another 6*6 I don't know................

The thing I like about the 6*6 format is I find it just as easy to shoot in portrait orientation as I do landscape.

I just did researched during my lunch break, looks like RF645 has better viewfinder than Mamiya 6.
Since I wear glasses so a bright viewfinder is very important to me, I may just stick with Rollei 3.5F as travel camera.

When I was a kid I was into entomology and had an insect collection for a while. When I heard Bob Dylan sing that song, I swore he was singing "The ants are my friends, they're blowin' in the wind," and thought I'd found a kindred spirit.

I have owned a Minolta Autocord for yearrrrrrs and have worked on at least three of them. They are pretty bullet proof.
Like an old BMW they just need to be driven regularly to keep them running smoothly. Avoid the desire to lubricate them as they on virtually none. As long as the focus isnt too dampened you are good to go. If there is any amount of tension on the focus tab it will break off. Fortunately it's a very easy helicoid to strip and regrease with modern synthetic that will last forever.
