So I was gifted two rolls of fresh Double XX cinema film. What EI is best for this film for smallest grain assuming development using Df96? I am going to shoot a roll this weekend out of town and I want to see what it can do.
These were taken a few years ago with 5222 (Double X) using a M4 with the first version of the 35 2.0 Ultron. I used a 022 yellow filter and set the ISO to 125. The developer was the original formula HC-110 Dilution B (1:31)
If you're gentle with the agitation, it could help to reduce visible grain.
Start with the H-1, every night pick a different camera and take the same picture. My guess is by the time you make it to the Ilford Sprite, the boats will be decorated with holiday lights.

Where are you buying your 250D in 120? Looks great btw.
Thanks. I considered rolling my own, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Way more complicated than 35mm. So bought some from Reflx Lab. They are great to work with.

You should get good results with DF96 with it being a cine film developer and Double X is a cine film.

Now we need one of the squirrel lodge. Boris and Natasha probably have a little hideout around the corner.
There is a man in my local park who deems himself a 'squirrel whisperer'. He spends all day feeding them peanuts. I'm thinking he'll know where it is.
It's funny because the crows mess with him. They just wait for him to drop his nuts... and they swoop down and get them to his chagrin and yelled profanity. They actually wait for him more than the squirrels do!
