Got my Rollei 2.8F back from Harry Fleenor. CLA took about 2 months and cost a kidney. Ran a quick roll of Gold 200 through it to make sure all was good. Everything works great now.
Processed in ECN-2 since I have all the chemicals made up and no C-41 chemicals made up. Ran it with some remjet films and didn’t bother wiping this one off. Not sure how it would compare if it was processed in C-41, but the base is quite similar. Gold 200 in C-41 on top, ECN-2 on bottom. Possibly a hair less magenta when developed in ECN-2.

Nice! If you don't have them already, the Rolleinars (close focus lens attachment) work great and allow you to get nice n close for head shots.
I have all three they are great! Just need to remember to use them more.
Rolls 158 and 159: Comparing the curves of HP5 and Delta 3200 in Rodinal at 1+25 (20 mL + 500 mL) developed for 20 minutes.
I wanted to see how fast Delta 3200 is and if HP5 could be pushed to a similar speed. The internet had told me that Rodinal is bad for pushing to such fast speeds, and the internet was right. In addition, (!!!PSA!!!) the Delta 3200 spec sheet is full of crap when it says that it is ISO 6400 when developed in Rodinal 1+25 for 20 minutes. I get ISO400 for both. Curves below.
It looks like simplifying my chemistry to Rodinal (and saying goodbye to DD-X) means I have to say goodbye to fast films as well. Between the Q2M and using long exposures with Acros/Delta 400 I should be able to manage.
Both rolls were exposed at 1600, with exposures from -5 below normal to +3 above normal exposure. If the film had in fact been ISO1600, then the -4 exposure (Zone 1) should have given me a density of 0.1. Instead, it is the -2 frame that gives me a density of 0.1, so the film is 2 stops slower than metered -> ISO 400.

You should post this info on a Google Doc or something. This is great info!

good to know about Harry Fleenor, bought a 3.5 recently and shutter speed is a little stick so I am considering having it CLAed.
I was going to send it to Horst Wenzel as he did my 2.8E years ago but found out he passed away late last year so no choice for me but to send it down to the US
This past Saturday, I headed to downtown Portland and mostly followed the same path as the cr@p camera challenge walk. Starting at the art museum, I made my way to the waterfront, through the area near the Burnside Bridge, west to Tenth Ave, the streetcar to NW 19th, a visit to Pro Photo Supply then a meander back to the art museum. My leg don't work quite as well as they did several years ago but this type of trek helps.
This time, instead of the $17 Harmon, I used the M4-2 picture machine. It's not fancy but it's my most used camera. The lens is a Voigtlander 35 1.4 Nokton Classic SC V2 and I added a 022 yellow filter to help dampen down the bright sunshine. Tri-X @ ISO 200, Adox XT-3 1:1. Scanned with a Sony A7CII and converted with NLP. All of the post are NLP Linear Gamma presets with no other adjustments:

Thanks! It was actually moving when I took it.
I appreciate all of the assistance from other members in helping me improve my images. It's a real incentive to get out and use more film!
Normally I don't have any problem to choose which camera with me on vacation.
Haven't been Bay Area for 10 years but I'm going to visit my friend end of Sep.
Never brought Medium Format but this time I decide to bring one of mine.
Pentax 645 and Mamiya 645 are both out because of the weight and size. Still thinking Rolleiflex 3.5F or Bronica RF645.

Glad to hear Harry is still working even at an albeit slow pace. I remember taking my 3.5F to him in Redondo Beach about 15(?) years ago and he was wondering how much longer he wanted to keep at it. With a 2 month backlog I guess he's still busy...

I vote for the Rolleiflex. Good finder, easy to carry and use plus it's really quiet.

Last time I was there his son was working/apprenticing with him. About 5-10 yrs ago...
