Thank you so much for your kind words. I just got back six rolls of film from a driving trip to the southwest visiting some old college friends. I took the Rollei QZ35W and Fuji GW690III with me. Here are another one taken with Fuji GW690III with Kodak Gold 200 negative film.
Jiufen, Ruifang District, New Taipei City. The area around Jiufen Old Street is basically a tourist trap now, but the surrounding area still seems quite rural.
Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Kentmere Pan 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.
Finally breaking out a roll of AGFA APX 25 from the freezer (a kind friend who stockpiled the stuff gave it to me).
First impressions:
1. I like it.
2. It's sharp.
3. It's curly and scratch prone.
4. ISO 25 is no joke. I have been too comfortable shooting rangefinders for the last few months. Need to build up my mirror slap muscles. Quite a few images suffer from softness as a result of camera shake/motion blur (and these were shot in fairly bright light).

Nikon F2, Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 P Auto, AGFA APX 25, Rodinal 1:50....Show more →
One of my favorite Nikkor lenses! I owned several 55 Micro-Nikkors and most of them were the 3.5. The 2.8 Ai-S that I used for scanning was the last Nikkor lens I owned. Nice work with the Rodinal!

Thanks! They are lovely lenses - especially for the price. I have two 3.5’s. One is the original style with compensating aperture (the one is used for these pics) and the other has the diamond pattern rubber grip (it is the sharper of the two and it’s ai’d, but it’s also really ugly).
I like Rodinal…I don’t use it often. Figured it would look good with a fine grained film.
During the traditional festival of Dragon Boat Festival, the Guangzhou area has been passed down for hundreds of years of dragon boat "visiting relatives" custom, the neighboring villages and towns paddle boats to visit the door to the elders of the village being visited to send the name of the post and blessings, the villagers being visited to refreshments and enthusiastic firecrackers to welcome the guests, which is also known as the "Dragon Boat Scene".
Friends of ours, singers and folklorists from British Columbia, came to visit last week and I got a few portraits with my Mamiya C330, Fomapan 400 (at EI 200).
Ilford FP4 with the Nikkor 50mm f1.2 ais on a version 3 Nikon FM, Nikon LS-4000, Vuescan, NLP, Lr, and Ps. The grain is a bit overly accentuated in this, as I discovered the scanning software was making it worse than it actually was in real life. Used partially exhausted Df96 Monobath for 6 minutes at 68 degrees.
