Dude -- you need to use a tripod and get in that birthday photo with the rest of your family! Years from now your kids will remember Dad as being the guy holding the camera who never got in any of the pictures.

Look at that, perfect! Yeah I have two N80s for the grand total of $50. Why two? Because they are just two good…
Also have that lens, as well as the later G version it came kitted with. Ridiculously good lenses.
If you told someone you used an F6 for that pic, no-one would have doubted you. The only reason I spend more on a P&S camera is I can slip them in my pocket.
Yeah, it's close to some of the bigger P&S cameras but certainly not pocketable. The N75/N80 shines for me as the perfect around-the-house camera. You've got a flash, you've got autofocus, you've got a great meter, and the world is your oyster with cratering F-mount lens prices. It's the perfect way to annoy all members of the family, two-legged or four

Finally developed my first roll. First time developing film, and so also the first time I tried home scanning with the SL2-S and the Leica Apo-Macro-Elmarit-R with the 1:1 ELPRO.
The view from above the train tracks leading from Zürich main station. Nikon F2AS with the 50mm f/1.2 AI-s on Ilford HP5+. Lots to learn about developing and scanning still, but happy to have images on the roll at all tbh! It was a thrill seeing that it worked.
