Haha! I would love to start developing my own film again (it's been about 45 years since I developed my last roll, when I switched from Tri-X to Kodachrome and Agfachrome), but let's just say it would upset the state of domestic tranquility in my house.
I use Cinestill DF 96 Monobath. One little bottle that does everything, and you can reuse it 16 times. It takes up very little space and HP5 is excellent in it.
It sounds like your lab messed things up. Even sounds like the developer was expired or too cold.
Focus seems a little off. I sent the body and film backs to Nippon. They said the film backs were badly in need of a service for film flatness and lube. Should have them back soon.
Ran 6 rolls through my Rollei 2.8F recently. Really enjoying that camera! But most of the rolls have at least one issue like only 10/11 images and starting late. The counter reset lever is also acting up. It's under warranty at KEH, but I think I'm just to send it to Harry Fleenor have it properly CLA'd.
I had Harry service my 2.8E. Sounds like your auto film load needs adjusting - as it works on sensing film thickness. Did you get that issue with all types of 120 film, or only a specific one?
It's actually why I prefer the simpler manual load systems, where it is up to you to line up the arrows etc as there is less to go wrong.
Harry refuses to work on the modern (!) Rolleiflexes like the GX and FX which is weird. For that I used Steve's Camera in Culver City, CA.

Yes I think that's exactly what's happening. It happens most often with Gold 200.

Cool shot, love the color palette in this one.
Thank you very much! This is the very first roll that I used and I still have a lot to learn about this film. I also like its color palette and will try more rolls for indoors.

If the rest of your camera is ok, I may look for another place to get the film transport serviced. Unless you don't mind waiting for Harry - not sure what his timeline is like at the moment, but I heard it could be a while.
